Hi, My Name Is A.D.D. Blogger

I’m going to do something different for a few weeks. I’m not going to follow all the rules I’ve been told by many with this blog. I’m not going to post at regular intervals. I won’t stick to one topic. Just so you know, this isn’t a blog about couponing or writing or anything specific. This is my crazy A.D.D. blog that pretty much matches my own way of life.

So I’m breaking all the rules. Thanks to a great blogger, HarsH ReaLiTy, I finally got peace and clarity on this blogging thing. I’d always been told to be consistent, have a focus, don’t deviate. Well, forget that. That’s not how I live my life, and trying to do it for a year now on Blogger got me no where. So here’s the new attempt.

Hope you can find a home in my few or many word posts amongst the unorganized. Now that’s a weird thought. I’m the least unorganized person I know even though I have A.D.D. See what I mean?

Have fun with me and enjoy my crazy jumps from one thing to the next.

Do you struggle with your ‘focus’ too?

    1. You’re helping me in great ways by reblogging my posts. Thanks!!!

  1. love it!!! my blog jumps around, too, and I haven’t got “back in the saddle” since I was sick – over a month ago!! not so consistent, eh? I write about what strikes me, um, each week(?) theoretically each week… look forward to more crazy jumpy blog posts!!!

    1. I read your posts about your RA and other issues. Hope you feel better soon. I hate that when it seems like you can’t get over an illness for weeks.

  2. I tend to post at regular intervals, because otherwise I would probably forget. but my topics do jump around with whatever I happen to be thinking that day.

    1. I love your blog, Kate.

  3. I came by to visit after I saw you liked my post. I have similar feelings to you because I have a rebellious streak. I just started my blog about 2 months ago. I have been jumping around with topics and writing styles. I think part of it I am exploring and experimenting and not sure where I am going to end up. I was thinking about my writing process today as well. I think it takes me a while to let ideas percolate and then when I am ready it seems to flow better. So I think I am hearing you say that like me you don’t do as well writing on demand in a set schedule. Like with all these post a day and writing prompts. Oh well, I am running on. Glad you dropped by my blog.

    1. You’re right. Writing on a schedule is hard. Hope you have great success on your blog.
